Love at first type.

I started blogging one week ago.  7 days, 7 blogs.  Is it love at first type?  Possibly.  I have a new found appreciation and respect for writers.  Putting your personal thoughts out there for everyone to read is scary, to say the least.  News outlets are constantly covering stories about online bullying and sometimes, the comments section on a website is downright terrifying with the needless personal attacks.

Right as I am about to post a blog, I come up with approximately 27 reasons not to post it and mentally explore all the ways someone could potentially make fun of me.  My experience, however, has been nothing if not positive and invigorating.  And so, I’d like to say thank you.

To my lovely friends, for all their encouragement, suggestions and excitement.  To my fellow bloggers, who have welcomed me to their world with open arms. To my colleagues, who always support me.  This is new and exciting and intimidating.  Thank you for the willingness to read my thoughts, what an honor to be worthy of your time.

I’m fairly new at this as well. Real Talk got started in late August. I completely agree with you on how I felt when I first blogged. It’s definitely scary. You hope at least one person likes it (that’s not related to you).

I’ve had really great discussions so far and some really bad comments as well. Overall I’m happy. My advice to you is not to put too much importance to the number of views. As long as you continue to get better each month, then a job well done.

I didn’t realize you were new to this. Find your blogs quite interesting and very relatable. Great job so far.

    Until your next post 🙂

Thank you for the kind words. I also didn’t realize you were new to it, your posts are great. You’re far braver for diving into American politics, but I love the motivation behind your website.

Thanks for the flattering comments lol 🙂

Can’t wait to read your next post. I’m not by any means an expert at this, but if you need any help feel free to tweet me your question.

Nice job on starting a blog. I started blogging 4 years ago for my law practice but have that it is a nice creative outlet and a nice break from law practice (even when you are blogging about the law!). Keep it up.

I'd love to hear what you think!
